Professor Shi-Min Hu

Shi-Min Hu is a professor in Computer Science at Tsinghua University, he was elected as a IEEE Fellow and a member of Chinese Academy of Science in 2023. His research areas are computer graphics, computer vision, and Deep learning. He has published more than 200 papers in refereed journals and conferences, including 42 ACM TOG papers. Shi-Min was a Principal Investigator of a Science Fund Grant for Creative Research Groups, NSFC, and has led the Tsinghua-Tencent Joint Laboratory for Internet Innovation Technology since 2010.

He has served as a co-chair and PC co-chair of various international conferences, including Pacific Graphics, GMP, SGP, SPM, CASA and IEEE ISMAR, and as a PC member of over 70 international events, including ACM SIGGRAPH ASIA, Eurographics, Pacific Graphics, IEEE VR and SGP.
