Tsinghua-Cardiff workshop on Visual Computing


General Information

The Tsinghua-Cardiff workshop on visual computing will be held in Tsinghua University China on September 13, 2016.

The Visual Computing Group at Cardiff University and the Computer Graphics Group at Tsinghua have been cooperating for over 13 years, and have published more than 40 joint papers. Professor Ralph R Martin is a guest professor of Tsinghua University, as well as a high end expert of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs. He won a Friendship Award of China in 2014. During the one day workshop, 6 faculty members from Cardiff and 7 faculty members from Tsinghua will present some of their latest research results.

Venue & Registration

The Tsinghua-Cardiff workshop on visual computing will take place in the Lecture Hall of the Future Internet Technology (FIT) building, located at the South-East Gate of Tsinghua University.

The workshop is free, but all participants are requested to register by filling in their personal details including their name, affiliation and email below. Registered participants of the workshop will receive a conference bag, which includes a printed program, recent issues of the CVM journal, and a free copy of a book by Professor Ralph Martin on scientific writing. A buffet lunch will be provided free of charge in the Unisplendour Hotel to registered participants only - please register now!
