CALL FOR PAPER

General Information
Pacific Graphics 2002 (PG2002) will be held on October 9-11, 2002, in Tsinghua University,Beijing,China. Pacific Graphics is an annual international conference on computer graphics and applications. The conference provides an opportunity for researchers, developers, practitioners to present and discuss new problems, solutions, and technology in computer graphics. The past conferences were held in Korea (1993, 1995, 1997, 1999), China (1994), Taiwan (1996), Singapore (1998), Hong Kong (2000) and Japan (2001).

Conference Topics
PG 2002 solicits high quality papers for presentation describing original research results in computer graphics. The conference topics include, but are not limited to

    Information for Authors
    Full papers in English containing original and unpublished results are solicited. The length of a paper should not exceed 20 double-spaced pages. Acceptable file formats for paper submission are Postscript, PDF, RTF, and MS Word. IEEE CS Press requires that the camera-ready version of an accepted paper be in Postscript.The cover page of a paper should include a title, an abstract, keywords and phrases, authors' names, affiliations, plus a contact author's email address, mailing address, phone number and fax number. The information on the cover page must also be submitted by email in a plain text file.
    To submit a paper, the paper must be transmitted to the conference secretariat via the Internet by April 30, 2002. Its transmission method will be notified on the conference homepage. In addition the information on the cover page in a plain text file must be submitted by email to pg2002@tsinghua.edu.cn. Submissions will be acknowledged within seven days. Please check the conference webpage http://ncc.cs.tsinghua.edu.cn/pg2002/ for information about the procedure of submitting traditional items like video tapes and color photos.

    Republication in Journals
    All the papers will be reviewed by international program committee. Some papers of outstanding quality that have been presented at PG 2002 will be selected for publication in journals of "Graphical Models" and "Computer Graphics Forum".
